We Sail Georgian Bay

Cross the big sound

four or five tacks through Killbear Channel

past Davy Island

there the world turns inside out

emptiness expands

and we become part of nowhere

Behind the islands

starlight leads to sleep

then waking

a morning breeze

carries us back to nowhere

to nowhere at all.
