A continuum over four summers from 2010 – 2014 of paintings, painted en plein aire, of the grasses and wild flowers in the fields surrounding the McKellar Studio.
A painter spends more time looking, and searching and observing than painting. People need time to look and to see. Looking is not conscious. It is finding the interruption in the flow.
